Franklin & I started reading Game of Thrones, which my cousin recommended to us, and it's so good! She actually requested a custom brooch a little while ago that fits the same "Winter is coming" theme, so she was the direct inspiration for that first brooch. I've taken so long on the brooch she requested, though, so I'm probably just going to send it to her as a christmas present, haha. Hopefully she doesn't read this, or it won't be much of a surprise!

DeleteWhen I saw the first brooch I immediately thought about Game of Thrones. I'm currently reading the 4 book. The books are awesome. The 3rd book I felt kept me on my toes. I finally watched the first season on DVD and wish they'd hurry up and film the rest.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I'm so excited to read through them all! I'm still on the first book, but for how slow I usually read, I'm powering through it pretty well, I think. It's so much more intense than the stuff I usually read, haha. I let myself watch the first episode - I wished they would have taken the show a little slower and developed the characters a little more, but it's still good! :)

DeleteI love that first pin, and i'm completely obsessed with GoT too! I just have the last book to read and I'm all caught up, but i'm pretty sure it's thicker than the Bible. Talk about a project. And I hope you feel better- even though you felt guilty, at least you got a day off!
